If you experience a financial hardship, we will be happy to work with you and make appropriate arrangements to ensure your child has an opportunity to participate. Please feel free to email [email protected])
7) Players will enter the facility at the main front doors (South). Please line up with your child to sign in with the Town of New Tecumseth staff. We will have an SSU representative at the front doors to greet you.
8) Only 1 parent/adult to bring the player(s) to the facility each session. Once your child is checked in, your child will be taken by the SSU representative, down the hall to the fieldhouse.
9) Parents are not allowed to sit on the sidelines or enter the facility at this time. If the Town of New Tecumseth raises the capacity limits (as of Oct 13th they have not), we will update everyone if/when this changes. Exception is for the 2017-2020 ages, where only one parent/guardian/adult & no siblings will be able to attend. Our Toddler program requires one parent/guardian/adult to participate on the field with your child.
10) We require parents to wait in the parking lot in their vehicle after drop off. Please pick up your child at the North fieldhouse doors, located in the back parking lot near the basketball net.
11) All individuals 12 years of age and older are required to show a Vaccine Certificate (2 doses plus 14 days). This includes all players, volunteers, staff, coaches & parents/guardians entering the facility.
12) The town is phasing in their requirement for youth aged 12-17 such that they must have their first dose by Sep 22nd and be fully vaccinated by October 31st in order to participate directly in a sport activity.
13) Please note that you will need to show your Vaccine Certificate along with a government issued piece of identification each time you enter the facility to the Town of New Tecumseth Staff. Acceptable forms of identification include: Drivers License, Health Card, Passport, Age of Majority Card, & Birth Certificate
14) As they are not permitted to collect and store vaccination information, please exercise patience as they must check and confirm vaccination status on each visit. You will continue to be required to pre-screen for COVID-19 symptoms and contact trace once vaccine information has been verified by the town staff. Please allow yourself enough time to check in prior to your program’s scheduled start time.
15) Players with an organized sport group will be allowed to enter the facility 30 minutes prior to start. Parent/Guardians (2017-2020 ages only) with an organized sport group will be allowed to enter the facility 15 minutes prior to start.
16) Players, coaches, staff will be required to wear masks in the facility as per government regulations. Coaches and staff will wear masks throughout the entire session on the field, but players if they wish are able to take the masks off once they enter onto the field to start their session. As per government regulations, when exiting the field space, masks must be put back on to exit.
17) Players should not attend if feeling ill or have any symptoms.
We need to all work together to keep our club members and families safe and healthy over the next little while, and are asking for a commitment and patience from everyone involved. We are in this together. We are excited to start our Indoor season and look forward to seeing you all very soon!
