Position Terms: Seasonal (minimum 5 hour per week to maximum 40 hours per week.  Varies depending on the time of year); April 1st to September 1st (possibility of other work for fall 2023/winter 2024). Afternoon to evening hours, weekend work, and some morning weekday work required.

Work Location: Remote if not in Alliston (for April only), Alliston Area (May-
September)

Summary: South Simcoe United FC runs soccer programs for youth ages 18 months
through to 18 years old in the Alliston & Beeton area all year round. We are currently seeking Summer Coordinator roles (preferable someone who is in post-secondary education, but not necessary) to assist in the daily administrative & physical activities of the Club & help with on the field execution of programs for our 18 month to 18 year old ages.

The Summer Coordinators will take direction from the Club Board of Directors and the Club Administrator. The Summer Coordinator will assist in organizing, executing and managing our 18 month to 18 year old soccer programs on and off the field. Including, but not limited to, volunteer and staff recruitment, sponsorship, volunteer and staff support, roster and schedule creation, volunteer and staff scheduling and training, player registration, uniform and equipment organization, packaging (must be physically able to lift medium sized boxes), inventory, and handouts, social media engagement, and customer service to members.

Qualifications: Experience in supervision, scheduling, and leading student employees.  Experience working with children of all ages. Limited experience in the game of soccer, but sports in general an asset. Customer service experience. Demonstrated use of computer skills and social media channels. Physically able to lift medium sized boxes.
